Story Time and Jammies

Matt headed off to a football game today so the rest of us, including Bo, went to spend the day with my Mom. We got to see Uncle Tommy and his tow truck and we went to the store. We spent most of the day at home relaxing, which we all needed. As the sun set in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, it was story time with Nana. Addie and Tucker love their Nana very much. Bo also had a great day enjoying the field, the grass and playing with the sorority of dogs that they have up here. Now it's time for a quiet drive home while the kids sleep in the back of the car....hopefully!

One quick note to my friends in Louisiana...be careful (whether you stay or go) and let me know you are OK whenever you get power back! Good luck!

Stitches...yeowzers!

Today was a very eventful and exciting day.  We were able to visit with my friend Angela and her family.  They were in town traveling from the Oregon coast back to their home in Spokane.  We ate a yummy breakfast and then went to a park near the zoo.  In typical fashion, I forgot my camera.  :)
After the park, we went home and I dropped off the boys to leave for an appointment with a dermatologist.  I had two biopsies done and I'm fine, but kind of freaking out at the same time.  I'm not sure how long I have to wait to get test results back.  You haven't had fun until a doctor digs out some skin and then puts two stitches in your nursing breast.  Good times were had by all. Long story short, pray for me and my two patches of skin that went into a canister and sent to a lab!  Thanks

Lots of action...little blogging

Alright, so keeping up with the blog is somewhat difficult! I'm staying dedicated...well, trying to stay dedicated. Our days have been filled with fun and we have done so much in the last week since I posted last.

On Friday, Tucker, Addie and I went on a hike. Addie rode in the Ergo Baby and Tucker hiked for a long way! (I ended up going back to the car for the camera, Anna! I couldn't resist taking pictures.) By the end of the hike I realized we went too far because I ended up piggy-backing Tucker out of the woods. That's right, Addie on the front and Tucker on the back. SHE-RA!

On Saturday, Addie and I went to a beautiful wedding. Addie met some new friends and even danced! While she was dancing she barfed, then kept dancing. That's what we called "puke and rally" in Pullman! Good girl! Coug in training.

On Sunday, Matt, Tucker, Addie, Nana, Uncle Dan-Dan and myself went to the fish hatchery at the dam. Tucker loved feeding the fish and ducks. Then we headed up to Hood River to the Full Sail Brewery for lunch. The picture is of me, Addie, Tucker and Uncle Dan-Dan.

Today, we went to the zoo with my friend Jill and her two children, Cole and Belle. Tucker is riding the elephant and showing us what the elephant does! We had lot of fun despite the showers. Thanks for the company and we will do it again soon!

Ok, so here's to blogging more often. I will try not to recap an entire week in one blog again.

What a difference in such a short amount of time...

I love looking back at pictures of Tucker. The picture of him in the red shirt was just taken in April, just before we left Louisiana. I can't believe how much he has changed in these past few months. I'm sure all you Moms out there can agree that time flies by and before you know it your kids no longer look like the pictures you JUST took of them. WOW...I just said "kids", that's with an "s" on it now. I guess it still feels strange to be a mother of two! Life is so different now and I love it. Today we are getting a "sit n stand" stroller and I'm really excited about it. Never thought I would be so excited over a stroller. I guess Mommyhood changes EVERYTHING! I love coffee and strollers. "Really? Coffee and strollers?" you might say. I can confidently say yes, coffee and strollers.

Inspired...

Who knows how long I will be able to keep this up...but here goes my best shot.  I have been inspired by my friend Angela who started her blog about a year ago.  I love checking into her blog and seeing what her family is up to because we don't get to see each other as often as I would like.  With all of our friends and family who are spread all over the world, I thought this would be a way that everyone can check into our lives and watch our adventures no matter how near or far you may be.

So...here's to trying to figure this whole "blog" thing out and trying to keep up with it!!!  Wish me luck.
